TACHIBANA is a Japanese restaurant and sushi bar located in the heart of McLean VA. Our Master Sushi Chef and owner Eiji Yahashi opened TACHIBANA in 1982 in Arlington, and the restaurant moved to its current location in McLean in 1996.
Under Chef Eiji’s watchful eye, we at TACHIBANA serve only the freshest and finest fish and seafood from all parts of the world as sushi, sashimi, and in a wide variety of delectable makis. Or you can explore our extensive menu of traditional Japanese dishes and delicacies. There is always something delicious to satisfy everyone’s taste at TACHIBANA.
Visit us and experience traditional Japanese dining in a warm and friendly atmosphere in our main dining area, which is perfect for family and friends. We also offer a traditional style dining area at the back of our restaurant, which is ideal for quiet, intimate gatherings and semi-private parties (up to 32 guests). In addition, both dining areas feature authentic sushi bars. Come and enjoy fine Japanese food with us. We look forward to serving you.
